Tonight, my friend Igor took me to the heart of Moscow, not far from the Kremlin, to a WONDERFUL Georgian Restaurant named “Friend.” It is a well known fact that some of the best food one can have in this part of the world is Georgian cuisine. The other well known fact is that Georgians are amazing singers! It is very common in many restaurants in Russia that it is not just an eat and run activity. In the nicer restaurants, there is live entertainment, and in this one it included wonderful singing and also Georgian dancing. A young Georgian couple performed several dances throughout the evening. This was another one of those truly amazing evenings that is hard to describe, but hopefully the pictures (and soon the videos too) will help. Oh, did I mention that the food was amazing too?
