The pictures above include the Kremlin wall of Tula as well as a visit to a famous bakery in Tula that makes a special pastry/cake, called Tulsky Pryanik. From what I understand, this is somewhat like a gingerbread that has a fruit filling (or other type). It is also been called Tula Honey Cake and Tula Gingerbread. They are formed and decorated into neat shapes so they look very interesting. I bought one for my students back in Moscow to try with some tea, as well as a few others for family.
